THE DCC MISSION
Imagine us, busy sourcing and roasting regular coffee, minding our own business, until suddenly Char had to cut out caffeine… cue panic.
It didn’t take us long to realise what a boring and tame decaf world we lived in, and so the DCC journey began!
We’ve been busy sourcing awesome and unique decafs from across the world and roasting them with all the decaf vibes & love, to create our lineup of hero decaf coffees.
HAND ROASTED BY US
We take our sweet time profiling and roasting each decaf that we select - we want delicious tasting, balanced decafs that actually taste like coffee!
The great thing about our decafs is that you don’t have to drink them with milk - they make a great black filter coffee.
We wouldn’t trust anyone else to roast our green bean babies.
NATURAL DECAF METHODS
We only use natural methods of decaffeination for our precious coffee beans - nothing but the best for our green babies!
Keeping it natural, safe and chemical-free is always the way to go - choose from organic certified swiss water, organic certified mountain water, CO2 or sugarcane methods of decaffeination.
ETHICAL SOURCING
We choose to pay a premium for ‘speciality grade’ coffee - which essentially means it has earned a cup score of 80 points or above!
By purchasing the highest grade of coffee we can ensure full transparency back to source, that the farmers are paid fairly and that the local environment is being protected.
