How to brew:
1) Grab your coffee
Weigh out what you need, we'd suggest 15 grams per person (approx. 3 tablespoons).
2) Get your kettle on the boil
Start getting excited :)
3) Grind your beans
If you have beans you'll need to grind to a medium grind size (similar to granulated sugar).
4) Wash your filter paper
We do this to preheat the filter device and your cup or jug, then discard the water.
5) Pour water over the coffee
Pour 3x the volume of water to ground coffee (i.e. 15g of coffee would be 45g of water) over the coffee so it is all saturated, then leave to 'bloom' for 30 seconds.
6) Pour the remaining water
Slowly pour the remaining water over the coffee making sure the water is just covering the surface of the coffee. For each cup we recommend 250ml of water (i.e. 15g = 250ml and 30g = 500ml).
7) Remove the filter brewer
Remove the filter device from your cup or server and put it to one side.
8) Admire your brew
Enjoy and savour the ritual.
